Stress Management Through MovementTM (SMTM) Workshop
The objective of the Stress Management Through MovementTM (SMTM) Workshop is to provide participants with effective short and long-term strategies for minimizing or defusing stress. Through this comprehensive workshop, facilitated by our Motivational Specialist, the participant will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to appropriately respond to the many ways stress can affect them. When stress is not addressed, it can lead to a variety of negative affects in your organization such as a decline in productivity, increased absenteeism as well as poor morale. Research has shown that music, exercise (movement), affirmations, creative visualization, and group support can help release stress and improve self esteem. Our program, SMTM blends the disciplines of each of these proven stress management techniques and strategies into a comprehensive interactive workshop that includes:
To insure participants receive personal attention and interaction, a group size of 15 - 20 participants is recommended. To reinforce each participant's ongoing use of these effective strategies, a comprehensive SMTM Workbook is provided that supports the modules and includes exercises, follow up materials and other essential information.
