YOGA

Practicing yoga is beneficial in many ways. It helps to physically exercise the body, quiet the mind and become in touch with your inner self. You will learn to quiet your mind through breathing techniques, physical postures and meditation which allows you to feel more at peace while developing both strength and flexibility.

The tools you learn on the yoga mat are effective and applicable to your everyday lives.  You learn to become aware of your feelings before you react to situations in life.  When you are in touch with the way you feel you can then choose carefully how to react to situations that arise. This specific tool of noticing how you feel can benefit your everyday lives when it comes to functioning at your optimal level. When your confidence level is higher, you can function more clearly in everyday life.

Yoga gives you the tools to help you feel better emotionally and physically.  Classes will start off with breathing exercises designed to focus and calm the mind.  You will then do warm-ups and stretches to loosen up the body and awaken trapped energy.  This will lead into strengthening and confidence building postures and will end with a relaxation.  Yoga classes leave individuals feeling rejuvenated and stronger with a more flexible body and mind.
